Hi, I'm Sourav Pannalall — a dedicated and compassionate tutor with four years of experience helping students unlock their full potential in Mathematics from Grade 0 through to Grade 10. Currently studying Finance and IT at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), I combine academic knowledge with a calm, patient teaching style that puts students at ease. About the lesson

As a private tutor, my approach is centered around patience, clarity, and adapting to each student’s individual learning needs. I believe that every student learns at their own pace, so I tailor my lessons accordingly—whether they require a slower, more detailed breakdown of concepts or a faster-paced revision approach. I am fluent in English and offer tutoring in this language only, ensuring clear, articulate instruction and communication throughout each session. My lessons are structured yet flexible. A typical lesson includes a brief recap of previous material, a step-by-step explanation of new concepts, followed by guided practice and feedback. I encourage questions and ensure students feel comfortable enough to ask for help whenever needed. I use relatable examples, visual aids where appropriate, and always focus on building understanding before moving on to more advanced work. What makes me unique as a tutor is my calm and patient teaching style, backed by four years of tutoring experience. As a current Finance and IT student at UKZN, I bring both academic insight and practical problem-solving skills to each session. I’ve helped many students improve not just their marks, but also their confidence in the subject.
