About Thiago
Hi! My name is Thiago Calixto. I’m a 1st-degree black belt, a professional Jiu-Jitsu coach and athlete, and a multiple-time IBJJF champion.
I started training at just 4 years old in Rio de Janeiro — the birthplace of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I’ve dedicated my entire life to the art. I’m also part of the legendary ATOS HQ Team, one of the most respected and accomplished teams in the world.
With over two decades of experience on the mats, I’ve developed a teaching approach that blends high-level knowledge, technical precision, creativity, and strategic mindset to be applied also in life.
My Teaching Method is built on three core pillars: Beautiful and Efficient Jiu-Jitsu I Jiu-Jitsu that works at all levels | Strategic Mindset
