About Jamie
As a Flute tutor with 12 years of experience, I enjoy helping students turn their interest in music into lasting skills. I teach school and college students and believe that every student has unique strengths. My lessons combine technical training with encouragement and creativity.
Students learn proper breathing, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, tone quality, and expressive playing. I feel proud whenever I see students gain confidence and perform before an audience.
These moments remind me why I love teaching. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm practice, sight reading, ear training, and beginner music education. My mission is to inspire students to learn with confidence, curiosity, and passion.

My flute lessons are designed to help students become skilled, creative, and confident musicians. I teach using Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to make learning both enjoyable and effective.
Lessons are planned according to each student's goals and abilities. Students gradually master breathing control, posture, note reading, rhythm, finger coordination, scales, tone production, articulation, and expressive playing.
I motivate students with positive feedback and practical goals. Communication helps students understand concepts through demonstrations and regular practice. Integrity creates an environment where students feel respected and encouraged to improve without fear of making mistakes.
Creative teaching includes learning favorite songs, classical music, ear training, improvisation, rhythm exercises, duet performances, and listening practice. Besides flute, I teach recorder, keyboard basics, music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, and performance skills.
