About Julian
I've been living and working in South-East Asia for the last eleven years. During this time, I've worked as an English tutor, ESL coordinator and communications consultant. These roles have required building professional relationships with individuals and companies in a multitude of fast-paced business environments. For example, in banking and finance, supply chain / logistics and computer engineering areas, I've been responsible for explaining technical English documents to non-native English speakers, email and report writing and general English communication improvement.
I have a strong work ethic which goes hand-in-hand with my excellent punctuality. Always making sure to be available and ready to meet my commitments and responsibilities, I don't waste time and have a reputation for taking steps to find fast and thorough way to complete tasks.
Some skills which demand my success on a daily basis are meeting stakeholders and working towards their goals, collaborating with team members and customers, material sourcing and development.

I base my classes on points of interest. I use up-to-date material based on current world events and trends. I pride myself on finding and creating new material with amazing facts and stories from around the world. I prefer to avoid old, boring repetitive lessons that students have likely experienced since primary school.
