About Clair
Hi, I’m Clair Tully, a dedicated English teacher with over a decade of experience helping students achieve their language goals. With a strong background in exam preparation for KET, PET, FCE, IELTS, and TOEIC (Speaking & Writing), I specialise in guiding learners to success through structured lessons, test strategies, and personalised coaching. Before becoming a teacher, I spent 17 years in retail management, developing strong leadership, communication, and business skills. In 2013, I transitioned into teaching, working in Hong Kong and China, where I taught at schools, language centres, and later founded my own successful English academy, Excel English. My passion for education and entrepreneurship continues, and I am now expanding my expertise into online teaching and digital learning. My Teaching Approach Results-Driven – I focus on exam strategies, structured lessons, and real-world practice to help students achieve their target scores. Interactive & Engaging – Learning should be practical and enjoyable, so I incorporate role-plays, discussions, and interactive exercises to build confidence. Personalised Learning – Every student is unique, and I tailor lessons to match strengths, improve weaknesses, and maximise progress. If you're looking for a committed and experienced English teacher to help you improve your skills, pass your exams, and gain confidence in speaking and writing, I’d love to help!
