About Mobolaji
I hold a BSc in Computer Networks and Security from Birmingham City University, along with a Level 3 qualification in Software Development and an IBM Agile certification. I'm Sheffield-based and I still build and work with technology every week: web applications, AI-driven tools, and most recently a security project testing a chatbot against the OWASP Top 10 for LLM applications, so what I teach is current, not just what was on my course. I got into computing through networks and security because I liked understanding how things actually connect and where they break, and that's how I teach: I'd rather you understand why a subnet mask works or why an injection attack succeeds than memorise a definition. I'm patient, I don't rush, and I'm comfortable with students who feel behind or have been put off by the subject. If you're preparing for GCSE or A-level Computer Science, starting a networking or cyber security qualification, or an adult wanting to move into IT, I can help you build the foundation properly.

Lessons are online, one-to-one, 60 minutes, with a shared screen and whiteboard. The first session is a diagnostic: we go through a past-paper question or a topic from your current course, I find exactly where the gap is, and we agree a plan from there. Every lesson after that follows the same structure: a short recap, one concept explained properly with a worked example, then you doing it while I watch and correct in real time. For GCSE and A-level Computer Science I work directly from the exam board specification (OCR, AQA or Edexcel) and mark answers the way the examiner does. For adult learners in networking or cyber security, we build lab-style exercises around subnetting, routing, protocols and common attack patterns so you can explain the "why", not just recite the term. You get a short written summary after each lesson with what we covered and what to practise before the next one.
