About Sumeen
My name is Sumeen and I am currently a second year BSc Geography student at the University of Birmingham. I'm an enthusiast for exploring the world, sustainability and having an enriching balanced lifestyle.
Academically, I have always been a high achieving student and I can help all of you students also achieve your goals. I learnt how to logically make sense of content so it is not only easy to remember but also understandable to the point I could apply it in exams.
Most of my teaching skills are drawn from my own learning experience, having two younger siblings who I constantly support with school tasks, and having a mother who is a professional teaching assistant and part time language teacher. Knowing that I can support even one student in unlocking their potential in school is the reason I have decided to start tutoring.

For primary and pre-GCSE students: I can help children by recapping and teaching new class content using a range of methods depending on how the child learns best. Some of these include power points, working through revision guides and setting tasks to complete during lessons and at home.
GCSE and A level students: I will help students perfect their exam style by focusing on areas they struggle on. I can: explain difficult concepts in a clearer and understanding way so it is easier to remember, show how to apply concepts in exams and what exam boards are looking for, go through exam tests and give feedback on how to improve.
