About Kenan
I'm a first-year undergraduate at the University of Bath, spending most of my time studying Mathematics and Economics. As someone who has recently completed A-levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics in August 2024, I believe it gives me the ability to provide far more personalised tutoring advice due to my very recent experience of the examinations and the techniques required to excel.

I offer engaging and tailored tutoring sessions, designed to either build from the ground up, or develop from pre-existing knowledge. I have experience tutoring family and friends' children and siblings and have now decided to expand my client portfolio into something more professional. My sessions can be anywhere from 30-120 minutes based on the preference of the student, however my recommendation would be 45-60 minutes as studies show a drop-off in focus and concentration after a given time. In terms of my lessons, I am happy to work with both GCSE and A-level Mathematics or Further Mathematics students who are looking at either increasing their grades and pushing towards an A*/A, or mastering exam technique at that A* level in order to take the pressure off securing top university places. I think the most important part of working as and with a student is the way someone thinks and understands topics. As someone who has struggled with procrastination, work ethic, and making consistent small mistakes in exams, I understand the issues most students face when attempting to revise for exams. After self-reflection of my own habits, I managed to average over 90% in my Mathematics A-level including 98% in Statistics and Mechanics and I'm confident with a structured routine and consistent exam technique practice, anyone can do the same.
