About Evangeline
With 6 years of experience in computer programming education, I bring a structured, supportive, and student-focused approach to every lesson. I enjoy helping young learners and college students discover how programming can be logical, creative, and rewarding rather than intimidating.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students at different stages, from those learning their first programming concepts to college freshmen tackling more demanding coursework. My areas of support include coding fundamentals, syntax, functions, loops, conditional logic, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, SQL, debugging, and software projects.
I believe effective programming instruction should involve more than explaining code. Students need opportunities to write programs, investigate errors, improve their solutions, and understand the reasoning behind each approach. I therefore combine clear instruction with guided coding exercises, practical examples, problem-solving activities, and personalized feedback.
I can assist with school and college curricula, homework, projects, exam preparation, and skill development. Every lesson is adjusted to match the learner’s pace and current understanding, creating a comfortable environment where questions are encouraged.

I offer engaging computer programming lessons for K-12 students through college first-year learners, with instruction tailored to different abilities, curricula, and academic objectives. My goal is to transform complicated programming concepts into understandable, manageable steps while encouraging curiosity and independent problem-solving.
Lessons may cover computational thinking, programming logic, variables, functions, loops, conditions, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, debugging, and software development fundamentals. I can work with languages including Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and SQL according to the learner’s needs.
Every class blends explanation with active participation. Students work through examples, write code, analyse errors, improve solutions, and tackle practical exercises that strengthen their understanding. I encourage students to ask questions freely and learn from mistakes instead of relying on memorisation alone.
I can help learners prepare for tests, complete programming assignments, understand school or college coursework, develop projects, and build confidence with coding. Beginners receive patient guidance from the fundamentals, while more experienced students can focus on advanced topics and challenging problems.
My lessons are organised, interactive, and goal-oriented, helping students develop transferable skills that can support both academic performance and future opportunities in technology.
