About Nilesh

Hello, I'm Nilesh, a business tutor based in South Dublin.

Before tutoring, I spent my career inside real businesses. I managed hotel and restaurant operations in the USA and India, ran budgets and teams of over 165 staff, and later led technology programmes for large international companies. I moved to Dublin in 2025 and now share that practical experience with students who want business to make sense, not just to memorise it.

Students tell me they struggle most when topics feel abstract. My job is to connect each topic to something real, so that terms like cash flow, marketing mix or management styles become easy to remember and easy to explain in an exam.

I am patient, well organised and always prepared. Every lesson starts on time, follows a clear plan and ends with practice tasks, and I keep track of each student's progress from week to week.

Whether you are in secondary school, at college or an adult starting your own business, I will meet you at your level and help you build confidence step by step.

About the lesson

I teach business the way it works in real life. I spent over 15 years running hotels, restaurants and catering operations, and later led large technology programmes for international companies. So when we cover topics like budgeting, marketing, managing people or cash flow, I use real examples from businesses I ran, not just textbook definitions.

How a lesson works
We start with a quick chat about what you need, whether that is a topic from class, an upcoming exam or a college assignment. I explain each idea in simple English, then we apply it to a real case or a past exam question. You leave every lesson with short notes and one or two practice tasks, and we review those at the start of the next lesson so nothing is left half understood.

Length of lessons
Lessons usually run for 60 minutes. For college assignments or exam preparation, 90 minutes often works better, and we can agree this together.

My background
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and an MBA in International Hospitality Management from Vatel, France. I am a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. Over my career I hired, trained and coached staff and managers, ran team inductions and training sessions, and coached software teams on new ways of working. Explaining things clearly to people from very different backgrounds has been part of my job for years.
