About Marlie

Hi everyone! My name is Marlie :). I am an 18-year-old student, currently studying a Bachelor of Business at La Trobe University. I have recently graduated high school, where I led with confidence as the 2025 School captain. Being a leader taught me to confidently speak to others, as well as adapting to being a friendly, (and chatty) person to be around, which I believe has strengthened my ability to be an effective tutor. If we were to work together, I would try my hardest to cater lessons to your needs and try to make it as fun as possible! I am a young, passionate person who loves learning and assisting all people from all walks of life!

About the lesson

I aim to tutor to every person's individual needs. It helps to come prepared with set questions, so I can cater the lesson to what you need help with and therefore making the session as effective as possible. Sessions normally sit around 45 minutes. I have experience teaching junior drama classes as well as co-founding a study group in my VCE years. Lessons are for anyone trying to understand their content, to extend their knowledge and/or improve study habits or need overall academic help (in the Humanities field). Please Note, I may be only able to assist students in Victoria/sitting VCE.

Perfect! Marlie is an amazing Business Management tutor. She has a deep understanding of the subject and explains concepts in a really clear and engaging way. Her teaching style makes even difficult topics easy to understand, and she always shares useful tips and advice that are super helpful for exams. She’s patient, supportive, and really takes the time to make sure you fully understand the content. I’ve gained a lot more confidence in the subject thanks to her, highly recommend!
