I’m a very hardworking student who had struggle through understanding a lot of the concepts I am now confident in. It took a lot of perseverance and I’m now excellent at not giving up on learning something new as well as teaching it to others. I have a lot of patience when it comes to teaching concepts that a student just doesn’t understand and I’m a very good listener. I will try to my best to understand what a student is struggling with before trying different approaches to solving problems.

As a high school student, I can relate to struggling to understand concepts, especially in math based classes, hence why I’d like to help others through their struggles. I’m very good at teaching students around my age and younger. I can teach others at their level. Typically I’d begin a lesson by explaining the fundamentals of the concept and then try to break it down into smaller steps. I’ve learned that drawing pictures and using different methods to explain works really well and try to incorporate that a lot into my teaching.
