About Richard
First of all I love teaching English. I’ve spent my whole career communicating in English and really enjoy helping learners develop their language skills and watching them gain confidence week after week. I love chatting and I'm a good listener, so English conversation is perfect! We all learn in different ways and at different speeds and I try to tailor my lessons to each individual learner. I believe we learn better when we're happy, relaxed and confident, so that's the mood I like to set!

So, you're beyond schoolroom English but still want to improve? You'd like to develop your grammar, your pronunciation and your natural, everyday conversation? You need more fluent English to advance your career? Well I've been writing English professionally for more than 30 years, for some of the world's largest and well-known companies. I'm also a CELTA Cambridge certified graduate ESOL English teacher and I love teaching English in an involving and fun way. My lessons are generally about an hour and initially, I like to spend a little time getting to know you and how we can improve your English together.
