About Kiana
I have completed the IB Diploma at an international school in Germany with my favorite subjects being Maths and Economics. Now, I have turned towards essay based subjects studying Law at the University of Cambridge.
Thought the years I have tutored many different people in multiple subjects. Just to give a few examples: I tutored a girl for her maths igcse who went from scoring a high B to an A* in her final exam. Furthermore, I have helped a girl achieve a 6 in her economics IA after her first draft had achieved a failing grade. I have experience in teaching young children at the age of 10 as well as teaching adults. In my entire time as a tutor my students have always achieved, if not exceeded, their goals.

My teaching is based on three very important concepts: individuality, continuity and success. Throughout the past four years I have tutored many different people in a multitude of different areas, ranging from piano lessons to IB maths, 12 year olds to adults. My experience has taught me that every individual learns very differently and thus the key to my lessons is understanding how you learn best. Knowing this it is easy to come up with a learning strategy that will allow you to reach your goals. Working hard is essential, but one should never neglect working smart. Having identified how you learn best it is all about continuity and consistency. Depending on how much time you are planning to spend on the particular subject I will assign you work to do and check this outside of class time so that we can review and discuss it during our lessons. I am also always available to answer short questions that came up during your revision or in school via text or email. Finally, your success is my success. If you follow the right methodology everyone can achieve the grades they aspire to get and I will be here every step of the way to make sure you succeed.

Kiana tutored my son in German for two years. She helped him score highly in his GCSE and he has now decided to take German as one of his A Level subjects. If he struggles with that selection in any way I will be sure to reach out to Kiana again!
