About Ruby
I graduated from the University of Cambridge, where I studied modern languages. I am highly sensitive to the challenges and joys of language learning, which I seek to share with my students.
I taught ESL abroad and delivered classes to a range of ages and abilities, and successfully guided my students towards their goal of passing the Cambridge exams. I have also completed CELTA teacher training. I am dedicated to this profession and I hope to inspire my students to reach their fullest potential.

My lessons are student-centred. Our English classes will involve lots of interaction, engaging activities, and authentic practice with guided error correction. We will focus in depth on meaning, form, and pronunciation, achieving fluid expression and natural-sounding English. I will tailor classes to your needs, for instance, focussing on grammar, or skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking), or functional English for real-life situations.
I have ESL teaching experience in the classroom, and I have received the rigorous CELTA qualification which trains English teachers to the highest standards. I speak other languages (Spanish, French) which makes me sensitive to the challenges that may arise from language learning.
