About George
Being a hobbyist for many years, I've never really put serious effort into trying to make it big in the music industry,.. sure, I've had some tracks played on the radio (nothing majorly impressive) .. instead, I've mostly been content to just hone my craft for nothing more than the simple pleasure of being creative.
When I show people my work, they're always really surprised by how professional it sounds. They sometimes say that my work is better than some of the artists that are currently in the charts. Whilst I do agree,.. it's not from an overinflated estimation of my own abilities - after all, I've been doing this for longer than some of those artists have been alive (the very young ones that is!)
That's one of the reasons why I have decided to teach music production. Although I myself am unambitious, it would be a great personal achievement if I can help develop and guide someone who either wants to make a career out of music in the future, or needs a dedicated tutor to help them achieve top grades in Music Technology projects at school (depending on specific project requirements - potentially all the way up to university degree level).
Like I said before - you do not need to be able to read sheet music or be able to play an instrument in order to make good music - DeadMau5 being the perfect example of what you can achieve without any of that. All you need is a little perseverance and the desire to get a little better with every new project you start.

Learning music production is an uphill struggle if you don't know what it is you need to know in order to git gud. There are thousands of video tutorials on YouTube - but it takes forever to find the one you want and the videos are always too long and boring..
Together we will cut through all of that. Being self-taught over many years, I've done the hard graft of figuring out what it takes to make a song from start to finish - and this is what I will teach you in the easiest possible way to understand.
Lesson lengths will vary and the content will be tailored specifically to your needs, but together we will create a track from start to finish.. one that you can be proud of.. including the mixdown and final master. Along the way you will learn the importance of simplicity in music.. and why it makes for a good song.
As for my qualifications... I don't have a piece of paper from a university - but my 15+ years of experience makes up for that. If you're in doubt, you can listen to some of my work and decide for yourself whether I'm qualified or not ;)
I will consider taking on any student that wants to learn how to make music the easy way!
Note: Most electronic music genres catered for - but I specialise in popular dance music. We can discuss your preferred style in the first lesson.
