About Patty
"Actually, it started with the realization that languages are best learned through authentic connection. Living between cultures as an Australian Latin American diaspora teacher informs my perspective on French instruction. I completed my MA Languages and PGCE at the University of Sydney to formalize my teaching approach.
Teaching 181 students has given me a deep appreciation for the unique hurdles of adult learners and teens. I rely on my 13 years of experience to keep things straightforward and motivating. I am quite good at getting results."

"Good pronunciation demands that you learn how to manipulate your mouth for specific liaison and nasal sounds. You should expect to focus heavily on accent and intonation early on in our work.
I bring my background to help professionals and students relocating abroad navigate the nuances of French. We spend time on reading comprehension and exam preparation for DELF or DALF assessments. Role play and dialogue practice form the foundation of how we build your confidence in real world scenarios.
