I am now fairly recently retired having taught adults and teenagers in Africa, Asia and Europe. I really enjoy teaching and, between you, me and the gatepost, need the extra income as life in the UK can be quite expensive.

Have fun learning general, academic, business or legal English. I have taught Mandarin, Arabic, Russian & French speakers and others. I aim to make lessons relevant, interesting, varied and fun. Lessons can be 30 minutes to 120 minutes. I prefer to teach adults of any level. I have prepared learners for the IELTS exam, and have taught academic essay writing. I have two degrees from Edinburgh University, which have included two class prizes and one degree graded at distinction, and have recently written essays for an academic institution (1 essay marked as a pass, 2 as distinction). I have both the CELTA and DELTA certificates.
