About Cliona

My name is Cliona Dowd and I am from Ireland. I am now based in Melbourne. I am very passionate about teaching.
Throughout my studies, I have always taught within the education sector. Over the years I have been very lucky to be able to teach in Ireland, Madrid, Italy, and Australia. The subjects I have taught throughout the years are English as a second language, performing arts, public speaking skills, and pronunciation.
I teach pronunciation & public speaking skills at Greenwich English College. I would love the opportunity to share with you my skill set and knowledge from the comfort of your own home through online classes.

About the lesson

My role involves developing lesson plans and coursework assessments and preparing learning activities.

My role includes being a good model of the English language and teaching students how to use the correct sounds, stress, and intonation when speaking.

Over the past four years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach in Ireland and abroad. I have developed highly effective teaching techniques and methodologies that have allowed me to educate all styles of learners. My learning environment is fun and engaging, effectively promoting creativity and encouraging growing independence.
I am qualified and experienced for this position as I possess all the skills and experience. It's not just my background in past projects, but also my people skills, which will be applicable in this position.
