Teaching Approach:
I am dedicated to developing a fun, supportive and educational environment where students can explore and develop their dance skills. My teaching techniques are designed to be adaptable to the needs and goals of each student, ensuring a personalized learning experience.
Techniques and Methodology:
Chinese Ethnic Folk Dance: Incorporating exercises that build strength, flexibility and precision. My methodology includes basic training, expression exercises, technical skills and examination materials. Choreography is designed to reflect the rich heritage of Chinese dance, and I encourage students to express themselves through movement.
Classical Dance: Lessons include stretching, body rhythm (Shenyun) exercises and learning dance routines. This approach helps students develop grace, control and a deep understanding of classical dance aesthetics.
K-Pop Dance: Lessons are energetic and dynamic, combining popular K-Pop routines with foundational dance techniques. I emphasize rhythm, coordination and performance skills, helping students build confidence and stage presence.
Lesson Length:
Each class typically lasts 60 - 90 minutes For more advanced students or special projects, extended sessions are available.
Qualifications and Experience:
I hold a Graded Examination Chinese Ethnic Folk Dance Teaching Certificate and have over 10 years of experience in performing arts. I have worked with students of various ages and skill levels. This extensive background allows me to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire a love for dance.
