About Erin
I am a former middle school math teacher with 15 years of classroom experience. I am also a mom of two children, one of whom needed a lot of support in math through school. Through my experience, I developed a gentle approach to teaching that allows students to feel safe to make mistakes because they know they can try again. I now own my own business and no longer teach in a classroom, but I do still love to teach math. I look forward to helping you overcome your obstacles!

We will build conceptual understanding through real world application and logical thinking, rather than memorizing steps to solve problems. Math is a language and math equations have grammar, just like a sentence in language arts. The ability to apply math concepts in the real world is our ultimate goal.
