About Rachel
I am Rachel G, and I have been a math teacher for 8 years. I have a masters in Educational Psychology and am certified in the state of Tennessee to teach middle/high school math. I have a passion of making math more accessible and enjoyable for every student. My positive disposition makes students feel confident and comfortable with asking questions-- a vital step of math success. I bring real world application into all the math I teach so students can feel the value of learning all types of math!

I work with students at their own pace, and ask questions to promote thinking instead of just giving students the answer. I do love to teach shortcuts after we get understanding down! I believe in working to ease anxiety around math for students of all ages! I try super hard to make math approachable for middle school to algebra 2- I can also support entry level college classes. I bring a lot of joy to math and have taught over 200 students who would report similar sentiments. :)
