About Lisa
I am a certified math teacher who has taught in the public school system for 8 years. I have also taught in the online environment for approximately 2 years. I have tutored math for more than 15 years. I have taught 25+ students in one classroom, but find one-to-one or small group tutoring to be more successful. 100% of my students have advanced to the next grade level.

I am a certified math teacher who has taught in the public school system for 8 years. I have also taught in the online environment for approximately 2 years. I offer math classes or tutoring sessions for elementary through high school students. Whether you are struggling with math or just need someone to check over your homework, or anywhere in between, I would be happy to work with you.
I like to get to know my students, so I will ask you a series of questions during our first session. Depending on your learning style(s), I will incorporate any or all 3 learning styles in my teaching: visual, auditory and hands on. Organization and vocabulary are two keys to math. You will see these keys in my lessons as I work examples after teaching a concept to check student understanding.
