About Jennifer

I am a classroom teacher for the 23rd year. I also taught gifted and talented and special education. I have been a math specialist as well as a math tutor. I truly enjoy all forms and styles of math.

Most of my teaching is done visually as well as procedurally. I am clear with drawings or visual aids to help understand the concept. I use several different methods to teach one idea if someone doesn't understand one way, there is always another way. I use question and answer to help people show mastery or to find out where the confusion is.
