About Monica
Hello! My name is Monica and I am a certified Primary/Junior educator with a passion for helping young learners build strong reading foundations. I have experience supporting children who are developing early literacy skills, including phonics, decoding, and reading confidence.
I enjoy working with children in a supportive and encouraging way so they feel comfortable learning and making progress. My goal is to help students develop the skills they need to become confident readers while also helping them enjoy learning.
Each session is personalized to meet the individual needs of the learner, and I focus on building foundational literacy skills step by step. I believe that with the right support and encouragement, every child can become a confident and capable reader.

Hello! My name is Monica and I am a Primary/Junior educator with extensive experience supporting young learners in developing strong reading foundations.
I specialize in helping children ages 5–8 who may be struggling with early literacy skills such as phonics, decoding, and reading confidence. My approach uses structured literacy strategies combined with engaging and supportive learning activities that help children feel successful and motivated.
During our sessions we focus on building key reading skills including phonemic awareness, blending sounds, decoding words, and improving fluency and comprehension. Each lesson is personalized to meet your child’s needs and help them progress at their own pace.
My goal is to help children become confident readers while developing a positive relationship with learning.
I offer supportive online sessions and a free short reading check for new students to better understand their starting point.
