About Erin
I live in Philadelphia, PA and have over ten years of experience teaching reading to students in grades K–5. Most recently, I worked as a Reading Intervention teacher in a cyber charter school, supporting students who needed targeted, individualized literacy instruction.
As a certified Reading Specialist with a Master’s degree, I use a structured literacy approach aligned with the Science of Reading. I believe strong foundational skills are the key to long-term reading success, and I tailor each session to meet the specific needs of the child in front of me.
Building rapport is extremely important to me. I strive to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel supported, capable, and proud of their progress.
