About LaToria

As a lifelong educator and dedicated parent, I understand that learning today looks very different from when many of us were in school. The way students think, process, and engage with information has evolved — and education must evolve with them.

At ThinkForward Academy, we combine time-tested teaching strategies with innovative, research-based methods that support the needs of all learners — from young children to adults. Our approach blends academic tutoring, executive functioning skills, and cognitive development to help each learner progress confidently and independently.

I bring the heart of an “old-school” teacher and the mindset of “new-school” innovation, bridging the gap between traditional learning and modern educational expectations. Whether it’s mastering Common Core concepts, improving focus and memory, or building social-emotional and behavioral skills, every student is met exactly where they are — and guided forward with care and expertise.

At ThinkForward Academy, our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower every mind to move forward — one step, one strategy, and one success at a time.
