About Salina
I was born and raised in sunny AZ with deep roots going back several generations here so I love anything Arizona! Go Suns! Go Cardinals! Go Diamondbacks!
I have two older daughters, 18 and 21, and two younger sons, 1 and 2 (B-I-G gap) and 4 stepchildren - so I have been through most any mom struggles. I also have 2 dogs but it really only should have been one dog... so I also know about those pet problems too! It's so hard to turn away those cute puppy dog eyes!
We love to spend time outdoors walking, hiking, biking, swimming, or even just hanging out in the backyard. I love to do anything creative and try to find time to paint something every once in awhile. I love teaching using S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) and try and use these topics to tutor. I look forward to sharing some of these lessons with you!

As a tutor I like to get to know my students favorite styles and tools for learning. I also like to build a good understanding of what the students expectations are for tutoring, as well as the results/goals they are working towards.
Utilizing research and technology resources, I will then develop a personalized plan for breaking up and learning the skills needed to reach these goals. Small wins lead to big success!
