About Max
I have been tutoring for 3 years.
The majority of my students have been my peers who were struggling in a class we were both taking. Since I found that I learned best via teaching, I would self study then tell my class I was running study sessions. It is during these sessions I developed a knack for teaching math and science. Many of my peers thanked me for my assistance, and some have told me they wouldnt have passed the class without my help. I also provided some private tutoring to other students and helped plenty of middle school aged kids with their summer assignments while a counselor at summer camp.

Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Towson University.
I work with my students to determine what concepts they are struggling with, break them down and guide them through problems, providing support when it is needed but giving them room to try to work it out.
I like to approach tutoring with enthusiasm and promote positive encouragment, often times students can become overwhelmed or frustrated when faced with tough challenges, it is my job to make those challenges less daunting and build my students confidence in their abilities.
