About Thomas
I am currently finalising my PhD in theoretical chemistry at Heriot-Watt University with a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of St Andrews.
I have successfully tutored a number of students through their chemistry A-levels where they have successfully achieved the 'A' grades necessary to follow proceed to their choice of universities to study a range of competitive subjects, including physiotherapy and veterinary sciences.

Whether at the GCSE, A-Level, or Degree level, my lessons follow a straightforward set-up based on the belief that a student preforms best when they find enjoyment in the subject. I have found that this is best achieved through identifying how the student functions best, what they find is lacking in the classroom environment and how best to provide the guidance and approach that best suits their learning style.
