About Liam
As a tutor with a Master's degree in Chemistry and over 7 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about making complex concepts in organic and biochemistry accessible to school students. My journey into tutoring began with a deep fascination for how molecules interact and shape our world, which I love to share through engaging lessons and practical examples. Whether it's deciphering the intricacies of organic reactions or exploring the wonders of molecular biology, I strive to foster a deep understanding and curiosity in my students.
Beyond the classroom, my interests extend to hiking in natural landscapes and capturing the beauty of chemistry in everyday life through photography. These hobbies not only rejuvenate my spirit but also inspire my teaching approach, encouraging students to see science as both an academic pursuit and a vibrant part of their world. I believe in tailoring lessons to each student's unique learning style and pace, ensuring they not only excel in assignments and exams but also develop a lifelong appreciation for the wonders of chemistry.
In my spare time, I enjoy delving into the latest research in organic synthesis and biochemistry, enriching my teaching with cutting-edge insights. This continual learning fuels my dedication to staying at the forefront of educational methods, ensuring my students receive the best possible guidance in their chemistry journey. Together, we can unravel the mysteries of molecules and ignite a passion for scientific discovery that extends far beyond the classroom.
