About Lisa
I've been a teacher for over 14 years and love helping kids who are struggling with math. My triplets are all grown up and I am looking to work with a few kids over the summer to keep their skills up or review trouble spots. I've had a successful tutoring business for over four years and have helped many kids return to school with confidence!

I am the school's expert on differentiation, meaning every student requires their own mix of teaching. I usually do a quick pre-test on the skill, then design a few lessons for the class so that all levels are addressed. I work towards reaching different learning styles each week, whether it be visual/kinesthetic/audio or social learners. My class is never boring and kids learn a lot! I can't tell you how many times I hear kids say as they leave my classroom, "Math was fun today!"
