About Tamara
My name is Tamara, and I’m a Civil Engineer, English tutor, and lifelong learner.
My teaching journey began while I was studying Civil Engineering. What started as helping students understand mathematics eventually grew into a genuine passion for education, communication, and helping people unlock their potential. Over the years, I discovered that I didn’t just enjoy solving problems—I enjoyed helping others solve them too.
Interestingly, English wasn't always my favorite subject. In fact, my experience with it in high school almost pushed me away from the language. However, as I grew older, I began to appreciate the power of communication, storytelling, and self-expression. That appreciation eventually became a passion, and today I have taught over 3,000 lessons to learners from around the world.
As both an engineer and educator, I bring a unique combination of analytical thinking and communication skills into my lessons. I naturally recognize patterns, break complex ideas into manageable steps, and help students understand concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I am also a realistic optimist and highly solution-oriented. I believe that every challenge can be approached systematically, and my focus is always on helping students move forward with confidence.
Outside of teaching, I love learning. I'm fascinated by mathematics, statistics, science, languages, and even astrophysics. I also enjoy exploring art and music because I believe creativity and logic work best together.
My goal is simple: to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and practical while helping students become more confident, capable, and effective communicators. Whether you're learning English for work, study, travel, or personal growth, I'm here to help you reach your goals.
