About Susan
I am a Civil Engineering graduate with a strong background in Mathematics and problem-solving. I began my career teaching undergraduate Civil Engineering students and currently work as an Education Assistant, supporting students with different abilities and learning needs.
I am patient, approachable, organized, and committed to creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I believe confidence is an important part of learning Math, and I enjoy helping students turn challenging concepts into something they can understand and solve independently.
I am based in Calgary and offer online Math tutoring for Grades 1–9. My goal is to make every lesson supportive, structured, and productive.

I adapt each Math lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and goals. I explain concepts step by step, use examples and guided practice, and encourage students to solve problems independently. With a Civil Engineering background, undergraduate teaching experience, and current Education Assistant experience, I bring both strong Math knowledge and a patient teaching approach. My lessons are designed primarily for Grades 1–9 students who need homework support, curriculum review, stronger foundations, or greater confidence in Math.
