• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  Civil Engineering is a branch of professional engineering focussed on the planning, construction, and upkeep of physical and naturally occurring structures. The subject is more of an imagination if you can imagine a structure, if you can imagine the load acting on the structure and if you can imagine how the structure is reacting due to that loading then you will understand civil engineering very easily. I as a teacher will be developing the mindset of a student so that the student can imagine everything before applying it and if I can do that students will get interested in this field automatically.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  The motivation for teaching comes to my mind from my childhood days as I grew up seeing my uncle who was a Mathematics teacher in my school and the respect he got from the surroundings always motivated me to be a teacher. Today it's my passion and I love to teach, appreciation from students motivates me to do something new, something better and I try to improve myself every day so that I can make the subjects interesting.

• How does your work help society?

  Teachers are the pillar of society as they educate people by sharing their knowledge and act as the architects who design the map and foundation of their nature.

• 4. If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  As I already mentioned, my Uncle has been a role model to me since my childhood. I grew up seeing him serve society as a teacher and he was very kind to the poor students who were not capable of paying money which heightened my respect for him

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Besides teaching, it's always Cricket which I love most in sports. I love to play and watch cricket matches when I get some time with my friends. Traveling is also one of my hobbies as I am keen to explore the new location.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  As a teacher, I get overwhelmed by the students many times and I can remind one of that. It was the teacher's day in 2023 which was planned by my students and I got emotional about what they had done for me. In the morning they came to me and gave me two papers to choose from and I chose one and it was written as 'TEA' (the other one was coffee). So it started from here
  and goes on throughout the day like this. It was a day that I can't forget in my life. I can feel the respect and love for me and I can feel happiness. It felt like they were my family members and of course it is.
