About Kliment
The student-teacher relationship is, unbeknownst to many, a very delicate one. It has the capacity to be very meaningful but at the risk of equal harm to the student. This results from emotional unawareness and inattentiveness in the teacher. I have received training as a therapist to make sure that I can teach students without the risk of ruining their relationship with learning.

Music theory training is too often abstract and meaningless for the young performer. In my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan SMTD, I trained under a professor whose PhD focused on music theory pedagogy for performers where I learned how to embody theoretical concepts in my performance, taking them to a whole new level of sophistication. I want to share that knowledge with you!
These lessons are for students of any instrument who are interested in learning music theory to supplement their musical training.
Lessons will begin with understanding the student's journey as a player and theorist and their current instrumental activities. The theory material will be taught in relation to the student's instrumental activities.
