About Isabelle
I am a twenty-five-year-old educator from Dallas, Texas. I received my classical Bachelor's degree from Bethlehem College in Minneapolis, Minnesota and am passionate about classical literature authors, like Homer, Augustine, Plato, Jane Austen, Shakespeare, J.R. Tolkien, and Fyodor Dostoevsky. As a mother to a one-year-old boy, my passion for education has grown and my desire is for my son, and others, to be taught what is true, good, and beautiful. I hope to watch my students grow to think deeply, communicate well, and to live rightly in our world.

As a classically trained educator, I love guiding students through lessons that draw on primary sources, thoughtful questions, and the Socratic method. To me, education is not just about memorizing facts—it’s about discovering what is true, good, and beautiful. With my younger students, I bring stories to life through narration and hands-on activities. As they grow into junior high and high school, I encourage them to think more deeply through reading and writing, expressing their ideas clearly, and engaging in meaningful conversations together in the classroom.
