About Laura
I am a recent graduate from Durham University with an MA in Classics, currently based in Surrey. During my time at Durham, I studied a wide range of topics, including Greek theatre, the age of Augustus and Roman Imperial image, the Greco-Persian wars and invention of the Barbarian, Greek and Roman Epic, and I specialised in Greek poetry and Religion. Before that, I also completed GCSE and A-Level Classical Civilisation at Farnborough Hill School.

I offer one to one, personalised tutorials for candidates of OCR A-Level and GCSE Classical Civilisations. Tutorials are typically 1 hour long, online or in-person, and are personalised to your needs, focusing on building up essential exam skills and exam technique. I don't just teach you the facts, but more importantly the ability to interpret and analyse ancient sources, from art and architecture to poetry and prose; it is these skills which set you apart to an examiner.
I can cover all papers and topics in both GCSE and A-Level Classical Civilisations.
