About Dahlia
Hi, I'm Dahlia! My coding journey started in high school when I built a simple music discovery app combining my two biggest passions — technology and music. When it actually worked, I knew programming was going to be a huge part of my life. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications and Education (B.S.) from the University of Florida, where I studied programming languages, software development, AI fundamentals, database management, and technology education. With 5 years of experience, I have helped over 255 happy students go from complete beginners to confidently building real websites, completing AP Computer Science coursework, and handling college-level Java and data structure assignments. I was recognized with the Best Online STEM Tutor Award from a major US education platform based on outstanding student learning outcomes and enthusiastic five-star reviews. Every student I teach leaves each session having created something real they are genuinely proud of and excited to build on further.

I offer online one-on-one live computer programming lessons for students up to Grade 12 and college first-year students. My lessons cover Python, Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals, JavaScript, Java and Object-Oriented Programming, SQL and Database Basics, HTML and CSS Web Development, C++, Algorithms, introductory Software Engineering, and basic Cybersecurity concepts.
Every session is completely hands-on and project-based so you always leave having built something genuinely real. Just tell me your language or project goal before our session — Python basics, website building, AP Computer Science prep, or Java for college — and your tailored lesson plan will be fully ready before we start. No experience needed. Fully online and always project-driven.
