Hi there! My name is Lucy and I would love to be your tutor! I am a 32-year-old teacher with diverse educational background experiences I’ve collected over the past decade. I believe learning should be fun, interesting, and always evolving to meet the highest potential of every student. I am very patient, empathetic, and I like to be creative and fun when it comes to finding ways to tackle the more challenging aspects of school, such as memorization, efficient test-taking practice, and time + resource management to help you feel confident both in and out of the classroom :) Looking forward to hearing from you!

The foundation of my approach to working with students begins by building a rapport based on trust and listening. I approach tutoring as a partnership with my student so they may equally participate in co-creating and shaping their process of learning along with my guidance. Available for ages beginning at 2-3 years and into early/middle/late adulthood. My expertise emphasizes subjects relating to advanced English reading and writing, Psychology as a multifaceted discipline, Health & Natural Sciences, Mathematics, History of the world, Nutrition, Visual Art, Poetry, Politics, beginner’s French, Spanish, and Italian, Early Learning, Adaptive/Rehabilitative Skills Training, Tennis, and more! Lucy is an amazing teacher and tutor. She was my daughter’s Preschool teacher back in the day, and she absolutely loved being in Lucy’s class. Over the years, we have had Lucy provide tutoring lessons here and there for subjects including English, Math, Science and History. She is a wonderful communicator and finds ease in explaining concepts to struggling students in a way that can stick with them. She is well versed in how to approach children with strong personalities or disabilities such as ADHD. She has been well worth her hourly rate since day 1! I truly, deeply appreciate all of the help that she has given us over the last decade. 10/10 stars!
