About Deborah
I have been tutoring for as long as I can remember. I started in the 7th grade and carried on throughout college. I enjoy building a pleasant relationship between the student and the content. Anyone can learn if they try. I am recently accepted into medical school and my end goal is to become a medical educator meaning that I aim to teach other medicine in my future. I have been told I am a very compassionate teacher and I move at the student's pace.

I typically teach in a Monkey See/Monkey do fashion. We will first review the basic content and then solidify it with some practice problems. I do not believe there are "dumb" questions and like to discuss the concept behind the science (and math). I like to teach in a way that is enjoyable for both me and the tutee and keep the environment low stress with breaks. I use the Pomodoro method in my teaching meaning that after every 15 mins we will take a 3-5 minute break if the student would like. My lessons are open to anyone from the 6th grade to college sophomores.
