About Ellen
I am a college graduate. I hold a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in biology. I have acted as a volunteer tutor for 2 years in high school and 3 years in college. I have tutored many topics and many students with varying learning approaches. Through tutoring I have helped many students become more confident in their learning abilities, helped them create new study techniques, and improve their course or semester grades.

My teaching method is to find the sticking points within topic or lesson and help the student discover another angle to approach these challenges. I like to work in a positive environment to encourage students that failure can be its own success. I like to listen to the students feedback and incorporate their concerns into each session, while including classroom provided materials to best tailor the lesson to the students needs and success.
