About Ray
Hi, my name is Ray! I'm a freshman in college studying psychology and Spanish, and I still have a love of math. In high school, I took mostly honors and AP courses with almost all A's. I'm excited to help you learn! Outside of school, some of my interests include biking, anime, video games, and violin. If you have some interests that you want me to include in our lessons, just let me know!

I love teaching various types of math including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and precalculus. I teach mostly upper elementary and middle school students, but I can also take high school students.
I'm a big believer in teaching by doing. During our lessons, I'll demonstrate how to solve problems, and then aid the student in solving problems by themselves. I will also use concepts from my psychology classes for motivation and focus.
