About Lauren
I have not always been confident in my writing skills. I've had to learn formal paper writing and correct citation and formatting skills the hard way - not getting the grade I hoped for, making stupid mistakes and procrastinating until the last minute (thus creating more stress for myself!).
If I could pass on anything to you it's that I've been there. I have no judgments or preconceived notions of what learners should know, the levels they "should" be at, their work ethic, etc. I simply want to provide guidance, advice on the material at hand and strategies on how to learn, read and write better than where you are now.

- coaching and teaching reading to those less confident and would like practice
My lessons are tailored to the individual and what their tutoring needs are. I prefer to establish a rapport with my learners. I've witnessed people struggle or avoid learning or tackling concepts and assignments out of fear, procrastination and lack of self-confidence.
I'm here to help and to create a calm, patient, focused and productive environment without being one's parent. I really enjoy helping others and I'm here for you and your educational needs.
