About Yuvika

I am an undergraduate student at UCSD currently going into my third year, studying Cognitive Science with Machine Learning and a minor in Computer Science. I am an eager, active learner who is always curious about new topics! I have been tutoring since I was a freshman in high school, and have genuinely enjoyed getting to know each and every student and preparing material for them. I understand how in school it can be difficult to ask for and receive help, which is why I strongly believe getting outside private help can be beneficial for your individual learning.

About the lesson

If you have material beforehand(specific assignment/topics you want to work on), I request for that in advance to prepare a lesson plan for you. I start with off some basic definitions/teaching of the topic generically so you have a good foundation of the topic, then move on to practice problems that I have personally prepared when you are ready and then (if given) tackle on the specific assignment you are given by working through and asking you how you should solve the problem and analyze your thinking process. If wanted, I prepare worksheets with practice problems to be done as homework before class.
I am good with understanding every student has a different learning style and cater to that, going at whatever pace the student needs.
Lessons are available for any student in elementary school upto students in 10th grade.
