About Lucy
I am patient and understanding. II also know what it's like to go through a school system that's not made for your brain. It feels lonely, and scary. As a high-school student I had very little confidence in myself, and never participated in class, I didn't want my classmates to realize I did not know what was going on. Ihad to teach myself math, sometimes I would stay up all night just trying to get my homework done. But by the end I graduated with honors, taking AP calculus classes. Now, as an undergraduate college student, I continue to take math and science classes, and am among the first to volunteer an answer!

Hi my name is Lucy! I understand what it is like to sit in a classroom with a learning disability, to not understand instruction when everyone else in the room gets it in a second.
It can be scary to ask questions, and tempting to just try to play along. It feels demoralizing. Learning math with dyslexia or ADHD is possible and can even be enjoyable.
We can work together to find a step-by-step approach to the problems you are struggling with, and give you confidence in the classroom. I want to be on your team and help you achieve your goals by finding creative solutions and problem solving!
