I am a student at MSU Denver, and I am working on obtaining my major in computer science. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I realize that while school is important, so is socialization and having fun. I am currently 19 years old (she/her), and I completed my associate's degree in one year.

Classroom settings aren't the best learning methods for everyone, and I remember what it feels like to be shy and not ask questions. Math is also a subject that is easy to tune out when the teachers don't present the content in an interesting way. Math should be more than just remembering information and trying to repeat it. I will work with students so that they understand why math works the way it does. I have mainly worked with kids ages 9-13 but reach out and we can talk.
