About Luis Augusto
I'm originally from Brazil and at a young age I traveled the world working as an Artist/Athlete. Later, I worked for multinational companies in the retail sector. I'm passionate about cultures and learned 5 languages before receiving both of my University degrees and International Adult Teaching Certifications. During the pandemic I've gone from working 100% in-person to 100% online. I'm now a digital nomad and I'd love to share all of my knowledge in your quest to improve your English skills as well as learn from your experiences. As a tutor I combine teaching techniques, or pick specific ones, to suit each learner's needs. Lessons are prepared selecting content from a wide range of resources. I also apply techniques learned from my degree in Translation and Simultaneous Interpretation which increases fluency and provides me with a broad material of areas to work with you on.
Sessions usually kick off with a powerful idea from literature, motivational quotes, current affairs etc. And together we decide what to follow (eg: pronunciation, grammar, projects, listening, reading, games, etc...)
