About Coraima

To reassure students about my professionalism, I would first establish clear communication and set expectations from the start, outlining goals, schedules, and the structure of our sessions. I would also emphasize my qualifications, such as my subject expertise, any relevant experience, and my commitment to their progress.

To inspire confidence, I’d create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I would tailor lessons to their needs, offering personalized feedback and celebrating small wins to boost their motivation.

Establishing my legitimacy as a tutor comes from consistency, reliability, genuine care for students, and showing preparedness, patience, and a results-driven approach; students will trust in my ability to guide them effectively.

For ELA, I focus on developing reading comprehension, writing skills, and critical thinking by guiding students through texts, discussing themes, and practicing grammar. I break down complex concepts in math, use problem-solving exercises, and help students understand the logic behind formulas and calculations. For phonics, I emphasize sound recognition, blending, and decoding skills through activities like letter-sound matching and reading aloud, ensuring students build a strong foundation in reading fluency.
