About Michelle
I trained in Complementary Medicine (specialising in palliative care) at Anglia Ruskin University in 2007. Gaining a Cert HE. I chose to pursue the aromatherapy, massage and Bach Flower Remedies pathway and after finishing the course I used this whilst working in complex health care and later moved on to teaching and assessing first in area of health and social care and before moving on to working as an Outreach Tutor for KS1-GCSE/Functional Skills.
In 2020/21 during lockdown, I completed further training to become a Master Herbalist, Chair Yoga Instructor and Therapeutic Art Coach, I am currently studying to become a Meditation Teacher and for my BA Open Degree with The Open University. I find complementary therapies beneficial to my role as an Outreach Tutor as I can build activities into the Thrive Approach used to support out SEN students.
